eLM (VicTas Synod’s equipping Leaders for Mission unit) is providing two offerings for those needing or wishing to understand more about the Uniting Church.
1. Understanding the UCA, an online self-directed study unit with assessment and 4 group tutorials offered by Equipping Leadership for Mission (eLM) staff, run between 3 November 2022 and 28 February 2023. For more information and to register: https://victas.uca.org.au/event/understanding-the-uca-2
2. Uniting Church Theology and History, an academic unit offered by Pilgrim Theological College in cooperation with United Theological College, presented by lecturers Rev Dr Geoff Thompson and Dr Damien Palmer, supplemented by input from leaders and scholars of the UCA. The course will be run February 6 to 10, 2023, with one follow up day. It’s available to join as audit, undergraduate or postgraduate. Those undertaking the unit for competency reasons will need to complete assessment.
