The Property Committee deals with all matters related to property. The core work for the Property Committee includes the documentation and processing of property work in congregations, including sale and purchase, development, leasing, major renovation, manse standards, essential safety measures. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month, February through to December, 7.30 to 9.30 pm.
The emerging work for the Property Committee is focused on the Money for Mission program. The Committee is working with the Presbytery, congregations and Synod Property Services to assess and complete property sales that will support the resourcing of mission in the Presbytery and the wider church.
The Property Committee is working on a manual for congregation property contacts to use.
