Two Zoom Seminars ‘The Church as Salt’

Mount Waverley cluster Adult Growth & Development Group has organised two Zoom Seminars about the book, ‘THE CHURCH AS SALT’ by Rev Dr Sally Douglas. Sally is a Uniting Church minister, associate lecturer and honorary research associate at Pilgrim Theological College. The Seminars will be on Thursday, 7th and 14th of September at 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm.

‘The Church is dying’ is recited like a mantra in congregations, Synods, and in the media. If we say something often enough, we tend to believe it. In her book The Church as Salt Sally Douglas argues that this is not the case. Instead, what is happening is both more exciting and more challenging.
