Ethical Ministry Refresher – Councils

The Uniting Church’s Code of Ethics and Ministry Practice applies to all ministers and ministry agents (in placement and retired). All ministers in active ministry and lay people in ministry roles are required to attend Code of Ethics training twice a year.

Reading the resource material before the session is important.
We’ll be talking through our reflection on the Basis of Union (pages 5 & 6) reading in groups of 6.
We’ll be in groups of 4 to talk about the case studies provided in the reading (pages 7-15). Choose at least one to reflect on.
We’ll finish in pairs talking about our own experience relating to councils of the church, including how we relate to boards of schools and agencies.
