“Hold That Thought” is a series of short videos about Christian faith from the Uniting Church, NSW-ACT Synod. The 27 short videos open issues of belief, ethics and discipleship, with topics such as “What is faith?”, “Is politics a dirty word?”, and “Holy discontent”. In under two minutes, the videos are sharp, thoughtful and range from gently provocative to reflective and encouraging. I recognised many of the speakers as ministers from the synod.
These are great discussion starters for groups. Or you might share one or more through your church website or social media as a way of inviting people to reflect on a theme. Here’s a sample.
