Advent Quiet Day

Dayspring, a mission to spirituality of Hampton Uniting Church is pleased to host an Advent Quiet Day for interested members of the Presbytery of Port Phillip East. Due to Covid restrictions numbers will be limited to 25 and double vaccination is necessary. Prior registration is required for attendance.

Following registration at 10.00am, we will commence the day with worship in the Church at Hampton, followed by silent self – guided meditation.

There will time through out the day for personal reflection and also the opportunity to experience some of the following: A Labyrinth Walk and or a Prayer walk along the Hampton beach foreshore.

Lunch will be fully catered. A $10 donation would be appreciated.

The Quiet Day will conclude following our celebration of the Eucharist by Port Phillip East Presbytery Minister (Pastoral Care) Reverend Anneke Oppewal.

To register, go to Eventbrite, click on the green “Tickets” button on the right hand of the screen. You’ll be asked to put your first name, last name, email, best phone contact, something about your connection with the Uniting Church, dietary requirements (put no issues if you don’t have any requirements). You will have the option of asking for a one-to-one spiritual direction conversation to be held on the day.
