DESCRIPTION:The Port Phillip East Presbytery is offering an online 2026 Code of Ethics training (Ethical Ministry Refresher) Session 2 on the following dates: \n  \n\nWednesday 14 October 7.00 pm – 9.30 pm\nThursday 15 October 9.30 am – 12.00 pm\nWednesday 28 October 9.30 am – 12.00 pm\nThursday 29 October 7.00 pm – 9.30 pm\n\n  \nThis session is focused on ‘Self Care and Supervision’. The 2.5 hour session includes time to reflect theologically with your peers\, with prayer\, reflecting on an article\, and engagement with a range of case studies including discussion time in a larger group\, case studies in a group of four\, and personal sharing with one other person. This Masterclass focuses on the practical skills needed to prepare and operate PowerPoint slides for worship\, exploring how media can support the flow of the service and strengthen congregational participation. \nThroughout the evening\, we will look at how to design clear and accessible worship slides\, organise content effectively\, and operate PowerPoint confidently during the service. We’ll also explore common challenges and simple ways to avoid distractions so that media becomes a natural part of worship rather than an interruption. \nThis training is ideal for: \n\nPPT operators\nWorship planners and liturgy preparers\nMusicians and preachers\nTech‑support volunteers\nAnyone interested in learning church technology and supporting worship services\n\nParticipants are encouraged to bring their laptop. \nRegistrations are now open via Humanitix
