Preparing and leading participatory worship with people of many cultures
How do we become more inclusive in the shaping and leadership of worship? How do our practices, language, symbols, even our sense of time, reflect who we are as the whole, varied, people of God? How may we move beyond assimilation to mutuality?
Guest Speaker: Rev Dr Amelia Koh-Butler
Amelia is experienced in leading multicultural congregations. She is a gifted liturgist and song leader. Amelia is the former convenor of the Assembly Multicultural and Cross-cultural Reference Committee and the Seeking Common Ground Circle. She is also a member of the World Methodist Council’s worship group
Amelia will join us via Zoom.
